That´s the criterion of the 28 candidates for confirmation of the parish St. Veit am Vogau (Styria/Austria), who have spent a Saturday afternoon at our monastery to prepare themselves for confirmation.
Together with their confirmation attendents, the young people visited the monastery. The main aim of the visit was to go to confession at the home chapel. At the lecture hall of the monastery, they prepared themselves for confession by writing a letter to God, which was burned at the end of the program.
Furthermore, they coloured stickers to wear them by their confirmation. With much adroitness and love, crosses were coloured with different colours.
Sr. Ivanka had prepared a small "Agape" at the main hall. And she spoke there about the daily life in the monastery, about her life as a nun.
Br. Clemens and Br. Martin rehearsed the songs for the holy mass, and few of them will be sung during the confirmation ceremony in St. Veit, too.
The great final point of the afternoon was the holy mass at the Fatima Chapel, celebrated by P. Ignaz, who invited the young people to take the risk of love in their lifes!
