Eternal profession of Sr. Kerstin Oswald

"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." (Lk 9,23). Sr. Kerstin Oswald has obayed the voice of Jesus and got up to surrender him completely. On September 17th, 2017, she has made her eternal profession at the pilgrimage church of St. Mary Fatima (Styria/Austria). She bound herself to God and the community "St. Mary, Queen of Peace".

The ceremony started at 3pm with the rosary under the auspicies of young people. Afterwards P. Ignaz Domej, the head of the community "St. Mary, Queen of Peace", celebrated in the presence of some guests the holy mass of the eternal profession of Sr. Kerstin. At the beginning of the service, Sr. Kerstin was introduced to the community by Sr. Ivanka Vasilj. In his sermon, P. Ignaz explained what it means to live in the evangelical counsels: poverty, chastity and obedience.
After the liturgy, the guests were invited to an agape at the monastery - a good possibility to congratulate Sr. Kerstin and to make her sure, that some people will pray for her.
