Our backbags, our rucksacks, are ready, the journey organized - time to say good bye at home! Our pilgrimage around the globe - from Styria in Austria to Sydney in Australia - can start.

The main topic of the 23rd World Youth Day is the following sentence taken from the Acts of the Apostles (Chapter 1, 8): "You will get the power of the Holy Ghost, who will come to you, and you appear as my witnesses".

The first days in Australia we will stay at our host diocese Lismore.

On July 15th, 2008 the 23rd World Youth Day will be opened during a great service, celebrated by the Archbishop of Sydney, Cardinal George Pell.

On July 17th, 2008 the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI., will join to us (see Program of the Holy Father).
