On May 20th, 2017, Sr.Ivanka, Sr. Kerstin and the fraternity of St. Clair, oblates of the community at Medjugorje, have visited the monastery of the sisters of St. Clair at Brestovsko / Bosnia.

In 1989, four sisters from the monastery of the sisters of St. Clair in Split came to Bosnia - Herzegovina to establish a monastery there. At Brestovsko near Sarajevo they have found the right place. During the war in Bosnia - Herzegovina between 1991-1995, the monastery of the sisters became a refuge for some people who were supplied there.
