Welcome of Br. Mag. Hannes Saurugg in Gnas/Styria

Full of gladness, on June 26th, 2010 Br. Hannes Saurugg was welcomed in his home parish Gnas/Styria to celebrate there his first holy mass. After the welcome ceremony and the procession to the church, a solemn vesper was prayed.
Br. Hannes came back to his home parish in the same way the people there knew him before: riding a bicycle.
After a first welcome by the band of Gnas and some welcome speaches, the assembled community moved to the place in front of the church, where the Jungschar, a group of young people, welcomed him with a song.
The vesper was introduced by a solemn hymn, and after having prayed some psalters, a part from the letter of the apostle Paul to the Kollossers (1, 12-20) was read.
In his speach, Br. Hannes explained all the gladness and gratitude he felt in these moments. For his first holy mass celebrated by himself, he took the motto "Lord, I trust You".
The solemn vesper ended with the magnificat, the hymn praising St. Mary, and the benedictions of the new priest.
