Come, follow me
Before admittance to the community, new members have to undergo a time of probation. After canditature (at least 6 months), the postulancy (between 6 months and 1 year) follows.
When the postulants enter the novitiate (2 years), they obtain the brown robe of penance. The novitiate should be used intensively as a time of inner maturation. At the end of the novitiate, the novice makes her/his temporary profession. The temporary profession includes the promises to live in accordance with the rules of the community by considering the evangelical counsels (poverty, chastity and obedience) and to dedicate all the personal life to God to live in the interest of peace and alonement. At the temporary profession the brown habit of the community is handed over to the former novice as a sign of membership.
The final step of entering the community is the solemn profession, which has to follow the temporary profession within 5 years. From now on, you are a full member of the community.
