Every year, in Medjugorje more than 45.000 young people from all over the world come together for the youth festival (mladifest). Come with us! We start on Monday, July 30th, and come back on August, 5 th, 2012.

SpiriNights 2012
461 candidates for confirmation have spent two evenings, the "SpirNights 2012", at the Fatima chapel. They came together with their accompanying persons. In about 60 honorary people helped to organize the evenings.

Medjugorje-Pilgrimage at Palm Sunday 2012
Many pilgrims joined our Medjugorje-pilgrimage at Palm Sunday. The pilgrimage started at March 31st, and ended at April 4th, 2012.

Youth evening in March: Crucified-died-burried
On March 30rd, 2012, the youth evening was focused on the theme "Crucified-died-burried". Many young people tried together to study the theme by YOUCAT, Bibliologs and even by eucharistic adoration.

Youth evening in January, 2012
The youth evening in January, 2012, especially the eucharistic adoration, was performed by girls from Mureck/Styria. After adoration, there was an agape well prepared. Then, the young people came together for a movie.

Youth evening X-mas-Party
The youth evening of December was celebrated on December 30th, 2011 within the octave of christmas. It started at 7 p.m. with an eucharistic adoration, performed by young people from the parish of Straden/Styria. Afterwards, there was a special program in our monastery.

Christmas 2011
Dear friends of our community!
In those days we remember St. Francis, who was the first who celebrated christmas with a real crib with ox, donkey and the child in the crib. In 1223, he came to Greccio, a small town in the Rieti-valley near Assisi (Italy). There, with his own eyes, he wanted to see how poor and small the almighty God has made himself for us. St. Francis felt to poorness of God, he smelled His presence between the animals, the straw - he bowed down before the poor God and he sang songs about Him, who has become a human being.

AdventTime
From December 8th to 10th, 2011, young people met at the monastery of St. Mary Fatima (Trössing/Styria) to celebrate "AdventTime". For 48 hours, the young people studied the life of St. Clara and her way to devotion.

Youth evening "Advent-Special"
On the last Friday before Advent, young people met to a youth evening "Advent-Special". The eucharistic adoration was performed by young people from Fehring/Styria. Afterwards, there was a procession with candles through the wood with two meditations on the life of St. Mary.

Youth evening in October, 2011
The youth evening on October 28th, 2011 was performed by young people of Feldbach (Styria). The youth evening started at 7pm with an eucharistic adoration. Afterwards, the young people met for an "agape" and to see a film.

Transitus-ceremony and Oblatur-celebration
During the Transitus-ceremony on October 3rd, 2011, Br. Martin Schreiner took the "inner oblatur" of the community. Furthermore, the community was enriched by "outer oblates", too.

Profession of Sr. Kerstin Oswald
On Sunday, September 4th, 2011, Sr. Kerstin took her temporary vows for three years. The ceremony took place at the "Chapel of St. Mary Fatima" at Trössing / Gnas (Styria / Austria).

Pilgrimage to Loreto - Assisi - La Verna (Italy) 2011
From June 6th to 10th, 2011, pilgrims from Maria Lanzendorf, Vienna, Burgenland and Styria (Austria) followed the marks of St. Francis and St. Clara in Italy.

Community-weekend 2011 at the Thalhof (Breitenstein/Rax)
From May 14th to 15th, 2011, young people from Maria Lanzendorf (Lower Austria) and from Southern Styria have spent two very nice, but partly rainy days at the Thalhof / Breitenstein (Rax / Lower Austria).

SpiriNights at the monastery of St. Mary Fatima
On April 29th and April 30th, 2011, we had "SpiriNights" at our monastery St. Mary Fatima. On each night, 208 candidates for confirmation and their accompanying people took part. More than 60 honorary people helped to organize the 18 workshops for the young people.
