From August 13th to 15th, 2010, young people were on pilgrimage to Mariazell (Styria/Austria), to the "Magna Mater Austriae". They were invited by the Austrian Bishops Conference.

The pilgrimage of the styrian group started from Gußwerk with a holy mass, celebrated by diocesan bishop DDr. Egon Kapellari. Then, the young people went by feet to Mariazell.

After check-in and dinner at Mariazell, youth bishop DI Mag. Stephan Turnovszky welcomed the young people warmly. Then, concerts of "Sprudlfriends", "Soundkist'n" and "Cardiac Move" have been followed.

On Saturday, the day began with the laudes, followed by speeches and lectures of the bishops present. At 11.30 a.m., the holy mass at the basilica of Mariazell  was celebrated. In the afternoon, various workshops were on program.

After dinner and vesper, the young people had joined a procession with candles and an "evening of mercy". A very nice days end!

On Sunday, the rosary was prayed at the Europeum. Then the laudes followed at the basilica. At 10.00 a.m. the holy mass was celebrated under the auspicies of Cardinal Dr. Christoph Schönborn.

After lunch, a very nice weekend at Mariazell ended.
