On New Year´s Eve, thousands of pilgrims from all over the world came to Medjugorje to thank God for the last year and to pray for his blessings for 2019 - on the hand of Gods Mother Mary.

Christmas celebration with our oblates

On December 26th, 2018, the oblates of our community came together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The afternoon started with the rosary, the hl. mass and the following eucharistic adoration. Afterwards, they were invited to a cheerful welcome at the monastery.

Consecration to deacon of Fr. Niklas Müller

8. Dezember 2018

On December 8th, 2018, Fr. Niklas Müller was ordained to deacon by H.E. bishop Dr. Egon Kapellari by application of the bishops hands and prayers. Many people came to the parish and pilgrimage church of St. Veit am Vogau (Styria) to celebrate this feast with him and the community "St. Mary, Queen of Peace"-

Youth festival - Open your hearts to HIM

The third day of the 29th youth festival started with a prayer. P. Marinko Šakota instructed the young people how to open their hands and their hearts to thank God for everything and to admit the word of God.

The first day of the 29th youth festival began early in the morning at the hill of appearance. Special highlight of the day were the greetings of cardinal Christoph Schönborn, the archbishop of Vienna (Austria).

29th Youth festival at Medjugorje

1. August 2018

The 29th youth festival at Medjugorje was opened by the apostolic nuncio of Bosnia and Herzegovina, archbishop Luigi Pezzuto. With great pleasure for him it is the first time at the traditional Mladi feast. He concelebrated the opening service together with archbishop Henryk Hoser, the apostolic visitator of the parish of Medjugorje, with the franciscan provincial P. Miljenko Šteko, with P. Ivan Sesar and 473 priests from all over the world.

Prayer for Peace at Mariatrost (Styria)

Once a year, the Medjugorje-prayer-groups from all over Styria come to Graz-Mariatrost to pray together for peace. This year, they congratulated Fr. Ignaz Domej on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his consecration to priest, too. They recommanded him the protection of St. Mary.

On May 27th, 2018, the 2nd Nazareth-Familyday took place at St. Mary Fatima. Families, children and couples came together to be confirmed for their daily lifes by prayers and impulses.

Pilgrimage to Mariazell

Together with some oblates and friends, the brothers and sisters of our community went on May 12th, 2018 on a pilgrimage to Mariazell (Styria/Austria). The special aim of the pilgrimage was to pray for vocations there.

Spirinight II

7. April 2018

On April 7th, 2018, more than 150 candidates for confirmation came to St. Mary Fatima to get ready for their confirmations. Together with many helpers the community "St. Mary, Queen of Peace" and the Catholic Youth Organization Styria were able to present a variegated program.

On April 6th, 2018, the first spirinight of the year has happened. Together with their attendents, more than 150 candidates for confirmation came to St. Mary Fatima to get ready for the sacrament of confirmation.

MEHR-conference at Augsburg

From January 4th to 7th, 2018, the MEHR-conference was held at Augsburg (Germany). At the conference, 11.000 christians of different confessions came together. From our community, Sr. Kerstin Oswald and Fr. Niklas Müller took part.

New Year´s Eve at Medjugorje

Thousands of pilgrims have spent New Year at Medjugorje. After the international mass, the community of Genacolo presented their nativity play. At 10pm the eucharistic adoration began, and at 11.30pm a holy mass was celebrated.
