From the evening of Wednesday, July 31st, to the evening of Tuesday, August 6th, 2013, there will be our journey to the Medjugorje youth festival. In about 50.000 young people from all over the world will come together there for praying, singing and making new friends.

Monastery days in St. Mary Fatima

To spend some days of "daily life in a monastery" - that´s what young people wanted, who visited our monastery St. Mary Fatima from May 31st to June 2nd, 2013.

Youth evening - summer feast

The eucharistic adoration at the youth evening in May 2013 was performed by young people from Deutsch Goritz (Styria), together with their parson P. Rafael Leitner. Afterwards, in our monastery St. Mary Fatima "olympic games" and a "song contest" have taken place.

Youth evening on April 26th, 2013

The youth evening of April 2013 was performed by young people of the "Katholische Jugend" from Feldbach (Styria) and their chaplain, Mag. Markus Lehr. "With Jesus on the way" was the main topic of the evening.

SpiriNights at our monastery St. Mary Fatima 2013

7. April 2013

On Friday and Saturday, April 5th and 6th, 2013, the candidates of confirmation from the surrounding parishes came together at the Fatima Chapel to celebrate "SpiriNights". On Friday, Bishop Dr. Franz Lackner from Graz visited them for a "Meet & Greet". In 22 workshops, the young people came to terms with various themes: themes of their confirmation, themes of life.

Medjugorje-Pilgrimage at Palm Sunday 2013

At the beginning of the Holy Week, 45 pilgrims from Austria went to Medjugorje to follow Mary, the mother of God, on her experience and to get in touch with Jesus, our poor, suffering Lord, on her hands. They were accompanied by Sr. Ivanka, Fr. Hannes, Fr. Clemens and Sr. Kerstin.

Youth evening on Feb. 22nd, 2013

23. Februar 2013

The main topic of the Lent - youth evening was "Religious Faith - An Unexpected Journey". Young people from Straden (Styria) performed the eucharistic adoration. Afterwards, P. Ignaz Domej spoke about his life and his way to God. His statement was followed by various workshops. The youth evening was finished with prayers and the opportunity of confession.

A group of young people wanted to know more about "drab everday routine in a monastery". They visited our community for two days. The weekend began with the youth evening on December 28th and was finished with the holy mass at Sunday, December 30th, 2012.

On December 28th, 2012, the eucharistic adoration was performed by young people from Riegersburg (Styria). After adoration, they had an agape at the monastery. Then, the "Bethlehemer Planspiel" was played.

The November youth evening was performed by the "Jugendgebetskreis St. Veit am Vogau". After eucharistic adoration an agape and a film was offered at the monastery.

Visit of candidates for confirmation from Graz

17. November 2012

Together with their chaplain Giovanni Risaliti 70 candidates for confirmation from Graz visited our community. Several workshops dealing with confirmation, prayer and community were held. "Highlight" of the day was the service.

Once a month, young people come together at Maria Lanzendorf (Lower Austria) to perform a youth evening together with Fr. Hannes Saurugg. Now, after one year, a film was made.

The youth evening at October 26th, 2012, the Austrian National Holiday, was performed by young people from Fehring (Styria) and their parson, Mag. Christoph Wiesler. After having an agape, a forum-theatre was performed. The title was "Was schert mi des?" (Austrian dialect), meaning "Am I responsible for it?".

"Name of St. Mary" - celebration 2012

The sisters and brothers of our community "St. Mary, Queen of Peace" accompanied two groups of pilgrims to the celebration of "Name of St. Mary" in St. Stephan´s Cathedral/Vienna. On the way to Vienna, one of the groups, the youth group, visited Maria Lanzendorf before.

Youth Festival at Medjugorje 2012

„Lord, increase our faith" (Lk 17,5) was the headline of the 23rd Youth Festival at Medjugorje from August 1st to August 6th, 2012. Ten thousands of young people from 70 nations of the whole world came together to confirm their faith. Testimonies and lectures were translated into 17 languages.
