Musical "The Wedding of Kana" at Maria Lanzendorf

With great pleasure, young people from Styria and members of our community have prepared themselves since months for the performance of the musical "The Wedding of Kana". The performance took place in the evening of Whitsun, May 23rd, 2010 at the parish- and pilgrimage-church of Maria Lanzendorf.

Community-weekend 2010 at Maria Lanzendorf

From May 22nd to 24th, 2010, some young people have spent the Whitsun weekend at the monastery of Maria Lanzendorf (Lower Austria). They took part at the APG 2010, a missionary project of the archdiocese of Vienna. Some of them have declared their religious faith in public events.

SpiriNight at our monastery St. Mary Fatima

On Friday, April 9th, and on Saturday, April 10th, 2010, in about 280 candidates for confirmation from some parishes of Styria-South came together to practice religious faith within their group. All together, in about 50 attendants and 50 to 60 honorary assistants helped to organize the event.

Palm Sunday in Medjugorje

On Palm Sunday, many austrian pilgrims came together in Medjugorje. Among them, there was a group of friends of our community, too. They were accompanied by Sr. Ivanka Vasilj, who was supported by Br. Clemens Brecher und Br. Martin Schreiner.

Vienna: Second diocesan assembly - Acts of the Apostles 2010

From March 11th to 13th, the second diocesan assembly of the archdiocese of Vienna took place at St. Stephan´s cathedral in Vienna. The main topic of the assembly was the great missionary project "Acts of the Apostles 2010". Among the in about 1.500 delegates from the parishes of the archdiocese and members of orders, there were two members of our community "St. Mary, Queen of Peace" from styria and two members from Maria Lanzendorf, who were accompanied by one uninitiated from the parish.

Day of contemplation at the monastery Mary Fatima

On Sunday, March 7th, 2010, during the time of Lent, a day of contemplation took place at the monastery Mary Fatima (Trössing/Styria). It was held by P. Ignaz Domej. The topic of the day was "You are my friends" (John 15,14), and many people came to renew their friendship with God.

On January 5th, 2010, members of our community and some young people visited under the auspicies of Prof. Alois Kaufmann the General Hospital LKH Graz (Styria), they performed the Holy Mass and they visited people of the neighbourhood at home.

Friends of our community at Medjugorje

From October 23rd to 26th, 2009, friends of our community came as pilgrims to Medjugorje. P. Michele Pezzini from our community has accompanied the pilgrims. On October 26th, the Austrian National Holiday, Archbishop Dr. Edmond Farhat, the former apostolic nuntius in Austria, and the pilgrims have dedicated Austria to the mother of God. The dedication toke place at the statue of St. Mary in front of the church of Medjugorje.

Celebration of Professions at the Fatima Chapel

6. September 2009

On September 6th, 2009 Sr. Renate and Br. Clemens celebrated their temporary professions. By their professions, they acquiesced in a closer obligation to God, and they promised to follow the evangelical counsels and the rules of the community with the help of the Holy Spirit, but they also promised to serve the church.
